Highland Harmony

30 x 30 cm | Edition of 6 | 2 available | Unframed

There is something reassuring about a Highland cow.

Unhurried, resilient, and perfectly at home in the wild landscapes of Scotland, they seem to embody a slower pace of life. Highland Harmony was inspired by that feeling — an invitation to pause for a moment and appreciate the simple beauty found in nature.

Hand-printed using the reduction linocut technique, this artwork was created through multiple layers of carving and printing from a single block of lino. Flowing carved marks suggest the movement and texture of the cow's distinctive coat, while a vibrant palette of blues, oranges, purples, and soft neutrals brings warmth and character to the piece.

Bold yet calming, Highland Harmony celebrates the connection between strength and tranquillity, making it a striking addition to any home that values nature, craftsmanship, and a sense of quiet joy.
