Bluebell Woods

40 x 30 cm | Edition of 7 | 1 available | Unframed

Every spring, ancient woodlands across the UK are carpeted in a sea of bluebells, creating a fleeting moment of magic. This print captures that brief yet unforgettable season — the vibrant greens of new leaves overhead, soft light filtering through the canopy, and the blue haze of flowers spreading endlessly beneath the trees.

Hand-printed as a reduction linocut, Bluebell Woods layers colour and carved texture to bring the forest to life. Each mark holds the rhythm of leaves, bark, and blossoms, echoing the quiet stillness you feel when standing among the trees.

For many, bluebell woods are tied to memories — childhood walks, the first warmth of spring, or favourite countryside escapes. This piece is a celebration of those moments, inviting you to step into the woodland and linger a while.
