When Mr Spencer and I first started courting, we took an unplanned weekend away that led us to Glastonbury. At the time, we were both serving in the Royal Air Force, which perhaps shaped our view of the world — but nothing could have prepared us for the sight of a man strolling along the High Street wearing an enormous set of antlers. What struck us most was that no one else seemed to find it unusual!

As part of that trip, we climbed Glastonbury Tor to St Michael’s Tower. From the top, the views stretched across the West Country, showing it at its very best.

When I began planning The Icons Collection, those memories came back and made me smile. I wanted to capture not only the tower itself, but also the free-spirited essence of Glastonbury. That’s why the tower is rendered true to its architecture, while the sky dances with playful energy — a reflection of the spirit that makes Glastonbury so unique.
