This piece was inspired by a special summer’s day in London with my niece on her very first visit to the UK. We walked 18,000 steps together through the city — taking in the sights, sharing laughter, and creating memories stitched together with joy and discovery.

Standing beneath Big Ben, we were filled with awe at its presence. Later, my brother asked me to create this print as a gift for his daughter, so she could always remember that first trip.

What I didn’t expect was how others would connect to it too. When I shared it online, it was people who once lived in London who were most drawn to it — those who saw the image and said, “That reminds me of home.”

Maybe that’s the true magic of art: it brings places back to us.
